Our Story
T.E.A.M Foundation is a non-profit organization registered with the IRS under the 501(c) (3) tax-exempt status. In 1999 it was founded by a number of concerned Liberian families residing in different parts of the United States, in order to continue the legacy of the late Tryphena Elizabeth Aniteye, a Liberian & humanitarian. Tryphena Elizabeth Aniteye devoted most of her time serving her country and helping the poor. She provided charitable services to orphans, underprivileged and the needy. Her passion to help people distinguished her as one of the most respectable community leaders of her time.
Mission Statement
Tryphena Elizabeth Aniteye Memorial Foundation (TEAM Foundation) is dedicated to operate exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, including but not limited to improvement of the condition of the poor, the underprivileged & victims of discrimination and alienation.
Programs
Liberia has been identified as the primary country where TEAM Foundation will focus its attention to provide assistance in education, religion, community development and other areas of need to the poor, underprivileged and orphans.
Our initial projects started in Liberia in view of the urgent need occasioned by almost eight years of civil war which brought untold suffering to the people of Liberia. Education assistance and community services development will take priority while other areas needing assistance will follow as time progresses and funds become available.
